Experience is required for this position.
We are looking for someone who is dedicated and extremely reliable.
This person is qualified by experience to enhance the function and quality of interior spaces and provide timely and up to date information for selections.
The Selections & Finish Coordinator will work directly with the DeHaan team and DeHaan clients to foster design and construction success on designated projects.
Act as liaison to the project manager and client advocate to the homeowner, tackling projects as a self-starter and collaborate with the team and clients in a timely and tactful manner.
Responsibly accept the challenge to handle potentially difficult relational situations that may come with relationships in our industry, help identify possibly conflict issues, and assist and develop plans to mitigate possible risks, always acting as an overall team player.
Educate and empower clients to make decisions that are in line with predetermined budgets and amenity level.
Spearhead communication between project managers, DeHaan team members, trade partners and clients.

Essential Job Functions 1.
Responsible for Precon Selections/Finishes and updates of selection changes on designated projects.
2.
Assist with estimating, change order, and invoicing for design and selections within designated projects.
3.
Assist in preparing working drawings and specifications for interior construction, assist in interior architecture, materials, finishes, space planning, fixtures, and equipment (appliances).
4.
Coordinates and facilitates interior design/interior selections from pre-construction meeting to move-in.
Drives the client to make decisions within schedule's laid out time frame.
5.
Responsible for documentation of all interior selections to include (when applicable) manufacturer, model number, color number, etc.
Prepares and administers bids, quotes, and contracts as CM and/or client's agent, this includes the organization and completion of selection sheets within specified time frames (prior to installation) -client request forms.
6.
In collaboration with project management team, ordering product based on interior design selections and coordinates anticipated arrival and delivery while adhering to project and budget specifications.
7.
Tracks, monitors, and analyze lead times versus schedules and coordinates between clients and PMs.
Process coordination - communication with team when ready to go to next step or deadline approaching.
8.
Plan documentation as needed for selections.
9.
Acts as liaison between clients, vendors, subcontractors, and project managers.
Acts as point of contact for clients for questions or concerns on designated projects.
10.
Formulates and provides preliminary design concepts, visual leadership that are innovative, creative, appropriate, functional, and aesthetically pleasing - Design Board.
Develops and maintains client design portfolios electronically and keeps up to date.
Always keeping client in the loop.
11.
Develop and present final design recommendations through appropriate presentation media - Color boards.
12.
Develop and adhere on designated projects, schedules to insure timeliness of projects, work plans and budgets.
13.
Collaborates with professional services in the technical areas of mechanical, plumbing, electrical, flooring, counters, cabinetry, and any other trade persons and/or craftsmen needed to complete the construction process.
14.
Responsible for overall client communication and driving customer timelines (selections, ordering product, deadlines).
15.
Responsible for generating space plans with interior design consultant/partner.
