Finishing Machine Operator/Setup

Supreme Machined Products is currently looking for a Finishing Department Setup PersonThis position will train on 1st shift and will move to 3rd shift
Responsibilities:
Works with engineering to improve and develop processes Works closely with operators to resolve machine mechanical issues and tactfully respond and help the operators.
Performs machine maintenance as required.
Assists maintenance to help with mechanical issues and scheduled maintenance Set up finishing machinery to produce parts according to quality and productivity standards and operates when necessary or during slow periods Changes cutting tools and location of work piece during machining process as specified in setup instructions Performs tool or fixture adjustments Works to learn all finishing operations and parts made on all machines.
Works with setup and off shift supervisors for successful shift to shift handoff.
Will also be running production equipment at times.
Position requirements:
This position will be machine operation in a team environment Previous knowledge/experience in machine operations, troubleshooting, use of gauging and measuring instruments, blueprint reading, and adherence to safe work environment practices Positions will require attention to detail and quality assurance.
