We are currently hiring a Programmer I.

00am-4:
30pm Mon-Thu with some overtime required on Fridays.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Produces CNC programs according to run lists, or the steps on work order for machine or function.
Makes programs according to specifications required on Engineering print.
Updates Sheet Metal Group Leader and Manager of assigned jobs.
Cooperates with others to improve productivity and quality.
Maintains duplicate program files and associated files as necessary.
Keeps work area clean and free of debris.
Uses Vernier calipers on occasion.
Possesses knowledge of all Sheet Metal machines and programs Brake Press, Turret, Panel Bender, Laser and Shear.
Receives training/experience to become proficient in the following:
Process custom work content, back-fill for Programmer II in absence detect and communicate Engineering design errors and print issues.
Requirements High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Must be able to read tape measure and interpret blue prints.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Email use.
CNC programming.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
