a premier manufacturer of specialty meat products based in Hudsonville , Michigan is seeking candidates for the position of Quality Assurance Pre-Op Technician.
This position will be responsible for monitoring our cleaning process and making sure it is in compliance with USDA and company guidelines.
They person will also help with our start-up process and assist the Quality Department monitor our production operation.
A typical work day would be from 3am- 11am.
Required skills Knowledge of food processing and food safety Able to operate independently - self motivated Strong personality, not afraid of conflict Capable of communicating effectively Need to be able to stop production in case the need arises Need to have knowledge of GMP, HACCP Need to have an inspector mind set Employee must be trained in and fully conscious of food safety.
This job requires a pro-active person with a strong work ethic who can be depended upon to work independently.
