This individual will manage day to day operations and administration of all human resources policies, procedures, and programs in a manufacturing environment. This is a great opportunity to continue your career as an HR generalist and work in the a variety of functional HR areas, including but not limited to, benefits and compensation, employee relations, compliance, health and safety, recruitment, and HRIS.
RESPONSIBILITIES:Manage the day to day human resources operations and administration in a 24x7 manufacturing plant; execute company HR policies and strategies at the plant level
Drive employee engagement efforts and promote a positive culture in the plant by recommending, implementing, and supporting employee relations practices and procedures and acting as a business partner to managers, supervisors, and employees
Coordinate recruiting efforts and lead the new hire onboarding and orientation process
Advise supervisors and managers on performance counseling and progressive discipline
Oversee the corporate internship program and assist with project development, coaching, and mentoring for interns at the plant
Provide advice, assistance, and follow-up on plant policies, procedures and documentation to ensure compliance with all existing federal and state regulations
Act as the plant subject matter expert on workers compensation, providing case management for active claims and coordinating with plant supervisors to ensure restrictions are met and lost time is minimized
Oversee attendance tracking system, performance documentation process, and HRIS
Provide day to day benefits administration services and act as the plant subject matter expert on the company benefits program
QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelors degree in business, human resource management, organizational development, or a related field required; PHR certification preferred
Minimum of 3 5 years of broad based HR experience required
Manufacturing industry experience required
Strong knowledge of federal and state employment law and HR best practices
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and diverse populations
Ability to support a 24x7 manufacturing operation, including holiday and weekend coverage if needed

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
